"The company culture is declining rapidly. The managers will scream and humiliate you. There is no reason for them to belittle you. It is a screaming chain. I get screamed at and belittled by my boss so I scream at my direct reports who then scream at their family members who then scream at whomever and the cycle continues. It is very unhealthy. I wish it were more positive and we could fill people with positive compliments and appreciation. That is not the case."
"Understanding the business model is crucial to know what you need to do and what is expected. You will be challenged but you will come out with more experience if you apply yourself."
"Varsity Spirit LLC is a great company. They treat their employees fairly and the majority of the workers offer assistance to others whenever is necessary. It is a very upbeat environment with a "family" feel."
"Currently work for Varsity Spirit which is a part of the Varsity Brand. This is a wonderful company to work for. They are without a doubt the industry leader! Constantly being first to market with catalogs and innovations in the space are just some of the things that makes working for Varsity very easy. Wonderful support from managers and other reps ensures a successful company. Pair that with upper management team and you have an outstanding company with Varsity. This is a great company to work for no matter what your level of sales experience!"
"I have been with Varsity for almost 29 years. The company is evidently a good place to work since I have been here so long. However, it seems a lot of the "politics" are in place. You've got to know someone to get ahead in this company. I feel we have too many "vice presidents" and not enough "workers". Also it seems that our company would RATHER buy more companies and NOT pay the workers... this is a big pain and don't even get cost of living! Also after this many years... seems we could get more vacation days and sick days OR have the option to let the company buy out our extra days left at the end of the each year."
