"I’ve worked for this company for decades. Ever since the French have taken over, it’s been in a downward decline. At this point all skilled based jobs are treated as second class citizens. The management has always been disorganized. This problem has just gotten worse in the last few years. Benefits are not a guarantee anymore. Company use to have a very good 401k match. Not anymore. They will change around your schedule just to rob your holiday pay. They rely more on there mold technicians to make a quality product then there engineers. The tooling is a challenge anymore now that most of it comes out of China. They have an apprenticeship program that’s the going joke anymore. The majority finish the program and then either leave the company or move into jobs that weren’t what the program was for. They recruit engineering degree college graduates from a college out of Ohio to be mold technicians. They pay them more then there seasoned Technicians. This is a bad situation for both them and the people that have worked there for years. There always grasping at straws finding skill labor when all they have to do is treat their workers fairly. Seems pretty simple yet, they don’t get it. Anyone seeking a job here. Be prepared, this is just a small sample of what goes on here."

"Exciting cutting edge technologies in automotive lighting - the bling of cars. Management tends to overcommit resources consistently resulting in delayed launches, poor quality, high scrap, and unhappy customers. Then post launch they steal resources from active programs which puts them behind. Vicious cycle. This seems to be a common theme across the different business units."
"I am been working with Valeo for 5 years. It is a great innovative company in the automotive sector."
