"I was pretty much in charge of office administrative work for the Tustin Sales office. I have 15 sales rep, 1 spec artist, 4 customer service, 1 receptionist. I was busy all the time and learning new skills."

"Advo has a great targeting program and training is great."

What don't you like about working at Valassis?

"I don't have anything that I did not like about ADVO. I was lay-off because of downsizing. I was a great place to work and great people to work with."

"Listen to your down line (employess). Sometimes, they do have great ideas/suggestions that will benefit everyone as well as the company as a whole."

"Inherited the worst operation nationally made it Top 3 in nation yet never was truly recognized"

"They are a continually growing company. They evolved from an idea in a basement with six guys and are now an international entity."

"I was there at the time when they were leaning up to attract a buyer for the company. Prior to my resignation, 600 people were laid off nationally in one day."

"the atmosphere was fine and you could count on support from all departments when needed. As far as my experiance goes, things were fine"

"The pay for sales employees was not very good, commissions were small for jobs that were millions of dollars in sales."

"Allow employees to obtain training in other areas and work toward other goals within the organization."

"It's a shame that this company doesn't value their workers, I've been employed there over 11 yrs and it's amazing how upper management just doesn't get it. The operations team just cases the top $$$ for themselves and forgets about the teams of dedicated folks that do their job above and beyond. Eventually their greed will catch them but the business will be a loss by then."

"This is a good job if you do not see yourself going anywhere for awhile. Lateral promotions for basically the same pay. Not somewhere for young and driven individuals."
