"Overall the company was good. However, even in 2012 there was still a struggle to integrate the two company cultures of Advo and Valassis related to the merger in 2007. Work life balance for hourly employees was good but for salaried employees it was problematic. If you were someone who was known for getting things done, you tended to have the work piled upon you. Unfortunately, senior management was lacking in providing clear execution on corporate objectives."
