"I like meeting people from all over the world. In the winter season, we get people from all over. I also like the people I work with. They are pleasant to work with, and make the experience fun and interesting in a fast paced environment."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"To learn as much as you can about customer service. The hospitality industry is based on customer service and customer experiences."
What don't you like about working at Vail Marriott Resort?
"I don't like the lack of communication at the hotel. I understand a lot of material is on a need to know basis; however, a lot of things that are not mentioned don't necessarily entail a need to know basis. For example, if a fire alarm is triggered, the security team needs to know the correct procedures when dealing with this type of situation."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"One suggestion I have for management is to conduct daily interdepartmental meetings in order to better serve guests so they have an exceptional experience."
