"Working with UW-Milwaukee has been purely wonderful. I have gleaned a wealth of experience from them, and I have been able to pursue my own research endeavors."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"In order to be successful in the EM lab at UWM, one must be very self motivated. As long as one can achieve this, the sky is the limit."

What don't you like about working at UW–Milwaukee?

"To be perfectly honest, there is nothing that I do not like about working with the UWM undergrad department, aside from the position not being a paid one."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"My lab manager runs an extremely well tuned operation. Keep up the good work."

"Some autonomy over others; paid to control staff during meetings"

"Be agreeable to most people so that your fellow Student Senators will approve your appointment"

"Not good management training; control is not management or leadership, per se"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Have more liaison duties because controlling the asylum inmates isn't much of an accomplishment in any context outside the school; students who manage only students are not leaders, unless you're a teacher"

"Explain which areas in which you need to catch up relative to other applicants because they value honesty; know-it-all applicants are perceived as over-representing their skill set"

"No advancement opportunities, poor pay for the industry, automatic layoff upon graduation"

"Make it so that student employees can transition into full-time employment upon graduation"
