"I have served with the Marine Corps since 1987 and while I am excited about my upcoming retirement, I will certainly miss the active duty ranks. The Marine Corps is literally filled with extremely intelligent, dedicated, and passionate folks who focus on accomplishing whatever mission assigned while ensuring our most precious asset, Marines, are taken care of properly. The Corps has my profession and calling for my entire adult life and I have been absolutely honored to serve in its ranks."
