"It was a stepping stone to get my professional life started. Loved that I had the chance go around the world twice. Camaraderie was amazing and unforgettable."

What don't you like about working at United States Navy?

"I didn't like that I was always deployed and my personal life and family came second. Out of the 7 and a half years I was in, I was deployed 6 times. I barely spent any time in the states or with my family. Was put in harm's way numerous times."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Be upfront and honest about what your potential employee is getting himself into."
