What do you like about working at US Cellular?
"Loyal company, as long as you do your job well they'll never look to replace you."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be open an honest of your expectations of the company, and what they expect out of you. Ask directly where you can be, 2,3,4 years later if you're seeking advancement."
What don't you like about working at US Cellular?
"Advancement opportunities were slim, and unattractive. When it was offered to me, it meant a 50% reduction in pay. From there, it would take 3-5 years to get back to where I was with my pay, and limited upward mobility from there. It wasn't attractive to me."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Invest in partnership agreements with resellers, appointing a US Cellular employee at each location. Shut down the company owned, brick and mortar stores. You'd maintain a local, retail presence and lower overhead tremendously."
