"Take what I say with grain of salt. I’ll start with the positives. The pay is ok and the building I worked out of before Covid is very nice. The presentation into the building is cool. The staff are friendly and the environment is pretty chill but that’s more to do with the other workers and not the company lets make that clear. Now comes the negatives. Metrics are numbers pulled out of a hat, billing system, and resources are very poor. Basically they have resources that half the time loop you around or are so poorly worded that you have to almost read a novels worth of words just to get the small bit of info you need to be able to click the right two to three buttons to finish a process. A quick simplification would work wonders in the area. The billing system is so convoluted that it boggles my mind that someone thought the design they went with was a great idea and got paid for it. For the many hats the customer service now wears such as phones support, parts of sales and now financial services/collections and general billing you’d think we’d have robust resources to help with navigating these areas but that is not the case. NOT AT ALL. Now, with all that said if you go into this job as a customer service associate and expect nothing other than a pay check and just go about your day and not care then you’re going to be just fine but if you actually want to do good work, with well made resources and systems this is not the job for you. And that’s working for US Cellular in a nutshell. Its your basic customer service gig I guess. Hope this helps some folks out."

"I recently declined a job offer from this company after the interview left me queasy. The Secretary was gossiping about a manager pawing at her white I waited to interview, the interviewer looked like she was on drugs, the building was dilapidated, the interview room was basically a closet with junk piled in it plus a table and the ceiling panels were falling in and stained. The interviewer was somewhat rude and and the equipment kept malfunctioning that she was using. Overall, unimpressed. Got the job offer, thought it through..decided to keep looking hopefully to find a company that doesn't smell of failure and defeat."

"I have worked for U.S. Cellular since 2012 and have helped them grow the business in the face of stiff competition against four Goliaths. I have truly developed my leadership skills and my marketing swiss army knife while at USCC. Mastering Innovation and helping all other areas of the company think differently and challenge paradigms, it has been a fruitful and joyous ride."

"I've worked for US Cellular for over 10 years, in that time the working environment has taken a nosedive. I would describe it as a high-pressure, sweat shop. Very little room for advancement, too many middle managers that are too well insulated and do not take ownership of their poor decisions. Stay Away!"

"Company going through a lot of changes affecting staffing as well as customer satisfaction. I would be cautious when seeking employment with this company. At one point this was a great place to work, and maybe some day it will get back to a thriving and growing company."

"Overall, a good place to work. Managers, in general, treat employees well and the work culture is enjoyable. Frequent and excessive on-call demands are placed upon engineers, interfering with family and work/life balance - shortcomings in this area when it comes to staffing are made up for with personal efforts on the part of team members, not by management staffing. Not a good place to work for contractors - some teams have strong disdain for contracted resources and openly express them."
