What do you like about working at US Airways?
"I worked at Usairways for ten years the first 9 years was the best time at any job I held in my life. The last year was the worst experience I have ever had in my entire life I came thru the ranks as an agent, supervisor and then Shift Manager. As a shift Manager compensation for a management position in NY at a premier terminal was ridiculous I was offered 33,000 initially, secondly bonus was even more ridiculous agents recv'd more bonus than managers or I should say than me. Thirdly senior agents were allowed to desrespect Managers knowing they made more than you and they had been there longer but had no ambition of furthering themselves or the company, they would offen sabotage the operation . To end on a positive note my experience as an agent and supervisor was great during that period I had a job that I would do for free I was able to assist passengers and employees in a positive way. I traveled by myself and with my daughter to places I would not normally go for little or for free benefits I did not enjoy as a Shift Manager . Currently I'm working at Atlas Air I'm definitely in a better place I am booking travel reservations for pilots and I'm truly embarrassed when I hear frequently Pilots in the industry saying whatever you do don't put me on Us Airways I'm also hurt because I cultivated great friendships and these individuals still work at Airways and need a job to take care of there families but as the saying goes one bad appke spoils the bunch and there are a good amount of bad apples internally and externally thats just ruining a company that as more than nine lives."
