"It was a part-time. temporary position while enrolled in the MBA program, so there was not opportunity to stay as a permanent employee."

"Improve on facilities available to studentsLook into possibilities of regular interdisciplinary seminars, most especially among graduate students.New policies to involve industries and community in translational research."

What do you like about working at University of Wisconsin?

"I didn't work there, I learned there. That being said, the breadth of available courses in my department (Materials Science and Engineering, I can't speak for the others) is more than enough to suit the desires of any student."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If you can get admitted to the University, congrats. My advice is to solicit several different opinions when choosing your classes and to not slack off in your freshman year. I did, and it took every semester for the rest of my college career to make up for it."

What don't you like about working at University of Wisconsin?

"It's college; no matter which school or which program you're in, college can never really prepare you for The Real World. Many people who have graduated before me said that they either had to ignore or unlearn many of the things they were taught in school, because businesses have their own way of doing things."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"This is only directed at the MS&E department: don't let atomistic modeling, nanomaterials, or polymers take over the department, having a knowledge base in metallurgy will still be important in the future."
