"Make sure your credit is excellent and you are able to talk people into going to school even when you know they can't afford it!!!"

What don't you like about working at University of Phoenix?

"It was a very pretty dressed-up version of in-bound sales over the phone. You had to basically force people to enroll or you'd catch hell from your boss. I also didn't like the fact that you're brought on as a temp-to-hire but even if you do a good job they'll let you go when your 90 days are up if you don't pass an in-depth credit check."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"To value the employees that they have and that are bringing in students."

"It definitely could be a wonderful experience helping students achieve their goals in obtaining a degree and education. If you are looking for an entry level position than go for it."

"It has a high turnover rate of counselors."

"They need to work on the coaching and training of the current counselors because of the investment in both the employee and employer should have taken."
