"I work at the University of Michigan in the School of Kinesiology. The environment and the overall culture there provides a great atmosphere for collaboration and productive scientific achievement."

"I have been working in UFM for 10+ years. My departments maintains very good work life balance."
"fMRI Lab is a great place to work. Friendly faculty and great lab mates."
"It was okay. I think it all depends on which department you work for. With my job, the work-life balance was not good at all, having to work up to 16 hours with as little as a 30 minute notice is hard on everyone. It can also be extremely stressful at times, often being in the front line for the hospital. It is common to hear from upset and frustrated people on a constant basis. At the end of the day, I was thankful to have a job, and you do get to help people."
"I've worked here as a PhD student for 5 years. It's been very good experience."
"Great school and great people!"
"The job was quite easy to do and pay was more than fair for the tasks being completed. It can be very tough to get a more permanent position, and unfortunately many supervisors are dishonest and/or duplicitous. Much of the supervisor's efforts seem to be geared toward getting rid of candidates rather than grooming new permanent prospects. I recommend this job for good, easy income, but caution to watch yourself very carefully and be aware supervisors may not have your interests at heart."
"As a graduate student research assistant, your job is to test and execute any ideas a professor has for a particular research topic. Whenever you are able to add some insight you are expected to do so. The job is part-time but will cover all tuition costs so it is well worth it."
"Excellent work environment."
"Very good position; job is fulfilling. It is however, a temporary position."
"This is not a good place for a software developer, because they don't have anything to learn, and keep learning is a a key for developers."
