"There was a wealth of insecurity and everyone was afraid they'd lose their job."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Give encouragement to your workers when they're doing a good job. Don't make them wonder whether their job is on the line. It makes for a hostile working environment."

"The Film and TV industry is very interesting to me."

"If you are self-motivated and a go-getter, this is a great fit for you. If you'd rather move up the ladder naturally (hard work = promotion) this isn't the place for you."

"I am bored and have nothing to do all day. Sick of personal planning. Need more challenge and change to my days."

"Involve assistants more in what is going on through weekly meetings, etc."

"Flexibility. Development opportunities. Great support systems in place. Easy to promote if you do the work."

"You must interview with several people. Be consistent with your ability to contribute to the company. They will not hire you if you are looking for a job, they will hire you if you are offering them something and bring value to their team."

What don't you like about working at Universal Studios?

"The red tape politics was sometimes difficult to navigate through. Company completed mass layoffs and doubled or tripled workloads on remaining employees."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Be honest with your people. They are smarter than you think and are more accepting of change than you might imagine. It is odd how closed door Sr. Level Executive meetings would have rollouts of massive top secret changes discussed and before the end of the day the entire meeting was public knowledge and they were busy doing damage control for the next couple of weeks."

"great! the company is a wonderful place to work and the job is gratifying"

"none, if you're lucky enough to land a job just smile and be happy and you will do fine."

What don't you like about working at Universal Studios?

"great, seeing the kids smilewhen they go on a ride system or see a parade"

"none the management seem well organized and have intrest in the team members"
