"United Healthcare has no money problems! They are the gorilla in the room."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Interviews are tedious and they digg into the position and then some. If you don't know your business you will be called on it, so don't fake it! Contracts end early without a lot of notice, so be ever dillegent."

What don't you like about working at UnitedHealthcare?

"They have a tendency to hire contractors rather than FT positions. This is hard on people never knowing whether they have a position or not."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"make the hiring process easier so that reqs can be changed to fit the job you want to hire for."

"There isn't really anything bad to say about Aegis Communication group. They have lived up to every expectation I have had."

"I've got good, professional co-workers and an engaged manager. I have the freedom to work autonomously while knowing I have mgmt's support."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Focus on your familiarity with project management and software development. Their preferred SDLC management tool, Planview, can be picked up pretty quickly by a moderately intelligent person. Where the rubber meets the road in this position is in being strong on the minutiae of scheduling and resource management. Much reporting and tracking counts on the schedule and resource allocations, but the reports aren't worth anything if the schedules and resources aren't accurately built out and maintained."

What don't you like about working at UnitedHealthcare?

"My current position is too simple. I would like to get a position with more meat to the Project Management."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"None in particular. This has been a short assignment and solidly managed."
