"Very difficult to move up, especially if you are a female. Salary isn't great, benefits and pension are pretty good perks. I feel my career has stalled at UCLA, I would not recommend this as a place to work."

"The work life balance for the PP&E department is challenging. There are constant demands and deadlines for the department. The other issue with the department is that is regularly understaffed and the staff is pressured to get the work done with limited to no overtime."

"A good place to work. Work and personal life balanced, great management and teams. UCLA offers a pack of by far the best benefits out there. Once you are in-house staff, you are in the whole pool UC system. Extremely easy process to transfer between departments. Access to all the recreations all over the campus, big discounts on classes, etc. Overall, it was a very good place to work for me."
