"I worked at Uber atg as a consultant for 5 months. My contract is about to expire and I am looking for new employment. At Uber, I have learned a lot about the self-driving process and the software life cycle. The company is a bit disorganized and there seems to be very little value given to product design."

Uber ATG Employee

"Uber ATG is a mountainous terrain of obstacles. The leadership was not very focused on one goal while we were constantly doing everything at once. My manager was a great leader and he goes to bat for his subordinates when other leadership wouldn’t bat an eye. The pay, benefits, and perks of working there were great. The training was phenomenal to say the least. Safety was always pushed to vehicle operators. The chance to promote or move to another section to improve on yourself and learn new disciplines was horrible. Employees brought in from other companies with less experience (years) got promoted to positions before the more experienced ones due to who you knew. The culture was good at the beginning but slowly began to turn into political gains of who you know. The company bends at the knee to public scrutiny and bails at the first unfavorable sign of a challenge."
