"Tyco as a whole is a great company to work for. Working for the Scott Safety business unit has been a great experience. Everyone here has a passion for what they do because what we do saves a hero's life every day. It's a passion that's unmatched. It's not the prettiest environment, nor the fanciest, but it's home to a great group of people."

"Great potential but going through major changes. Evolving markets and sharp price drops for video technology are huge threats to existing legacy product line and customer base. Split with ADT becomes "Real" in October 2014. Many longterm customers have been paying premium prices and that creates backlash. The "ADT/Tyco" value proposition will be put to the test in the highly competitive marketplace that is the result of new technologies available now."
