"I've worked at turner for over 12 years. It's a good place to work at. I rarely ever get to talk with anyone in authority about the progress of our shop-wide progress. Any info from authority would be nice to know where we as alloy welders would know how our progress is going compared to other companies or shops. It would also be nice to know how much we accomplished in a day's task.... a normal day on the job consists of an early morning 3-5 minute safety meeting after that, go to work."

"Mostly turnarounds. Lack of work. Contract and not secure. Only Temporary."

"Seek out more contracts with companies. Create organizing princples controls."

"No real education opportunity and very limited opportunity for advancement."

"I would recommend that management set up a safety budget and take control of the safety personnel and budget out of the hands of the job superintendant."

"If I know that Turner is on a job I will do everything to review all of their work."

"The mgt tells you to keep you mouth shut to hide known problems about faulty welds, or you will be laid off or even blackballed. They told me they had enough work for three months. The called in 12 CWI's then they laid us off three weeks later, after they were caught up."
