"The nature of the work that I did in CNAD: Center for the Neurobiology of Addicitve Disorders. It was multivariate repeated-measures data from clinical trials and observational studies, including fMRI data, physiological and psychological measures."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"I worked in clinical trials. Make sure in the interview that the clinical trials will be registered, and all data and analyses made available for sharing at a later date.TSRI has many almost-independent research groups. It is essentially a graduate university with researchers working on independent grants."

What don't you like about working at The Scripps Research Institute?

"Disrespect toward statisticians and statistics."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"1. Accept the statistical recommendations of statisticians over the statistical recommendations of non-statisticians.2. License SAS! TSRI qualifies for the academic license for SAS at $1050 per year for Base, Stat, Graph, ETS, FSP, IML and much more, less than 10% the single person commercial license."
