"I've worked for Trader Joe's for near 7 years now and there has never been a company that brings such a fun and exciting atmosphere as this. New products are on the horizon every month, bright-eyed employees greet you with a smile and are willing to help at any moment, and an overall clean, fun, exciting experience."
"Good place with some smart and dedicated folks who believe in what they do. Every place has its things, TJ is no different."
"I started working for Trader Joe's in August of 2020. In these 8 months I have grown to feel like a crucial part of a great team. I'm quite proud to work for a company with such a positive reputation. They stand by their values and take care of their customer and employees."
"Trader Joe’s is a customer centered company that treats their crew very well. If you can learn fast, move fast and work hard, you will be a food fit!"
"Simply put, Trader Joe's is listed as the #1 company in the country to work for. There are reasons for this. There business model enables them to pay their employees, securing quality, positive minded employees. Since each employee works in every section of the store, there is a great respect and understanding of all the jobs that need to be accomplished on a daily basis in order to provide consistent service to their customers. Management tends to be flexible and supportive and cares about its employees. They show this through not only daily interactions but through a good salary (2 salary increases per year if you simply do your job), but also through a matching 401k set up and exceptionally good health benefits. All in all it is a positive, supportive place to work."
"I worked at Trader Joe's for 3 years. I had a great experience working in a very diverse and friendly environment. The company has great policy supporting its employees and giving them an opportunity to grow. I would recommend anyone to work there."
"I have worked at Trader Joes for over 18 years. It started with 133 stores and when I left we were just shy of 500. Answering store phone calls and or e-mails would start off the day. With a crew of 8 people handling the daily business of the stores. Opening of a store or closing were normal calls the Help Desk Received. Any issues with equipment or software, a Help Desk Coordinator would assist the store with any of their issues and to resolve it as quickly and to no downtime to the store."
"Trader Joe's is a really great place to work. The company offers raises twice a year and a very flexible schedule. There is great camaraderie among the staff."
"Every year customers pick Trader Joe's as their favorite grocery store. Therefore I am very happy to be part of the company where we provide exceptional service."
"I’ve worked for Trader Joe’s on and off over the past 20 years. It once was a great company to work for; unfortunately it’s now garbage. Few members of the management team actually know how to perform their jobs and the store manager spends all of her time making the job uncomfortable for employees she doesn’t like. Employees are valued based on personality. Hard workers are expected to pick up the slack for the personality stars who need to spend working hours seeking attention. It’s disappointing that Trader Joe’s chooses to look the other way when it comes to treating all employees fairly and with decency. The benefits are the only good thing I can say about employment at Trader Joe’s."
"I worked for Trader Joes for 12 years. They're a terrific company with outstanding benefits and an easy company to work within. The management team, while varying a little from store to store, by and large are quite good. The products and service they provide the community are excellent."
"A wonderful company, full of incredible employees and customers"
"Not only is Trader Joe’s a fun place to shop, it’s an even more rewarding experience to work there. From the CEO to the newest hired employee, the family dynamic and support are unmatched. The benefits are the best around, and the pay is above average as well. If you e ever thought about applying at Trader Joe’s, what are you waiting for?"
"Since 2008 I've worked as a crew member for Trader Joe's. During my time I've worked at several locations, worked at multiple different levels. I didn't value the company's ideals as much as they would have liked. But what I found value you was fraternus. Working together as a team towards a common goal, all having to meet the same prerequisites in order to call the day done."
"I’ve worked for Trader Joe’s, almost three year, in my time there. I have met a multitude of amazing individuals. The team aspect really makes or breaks he experience. Management varies, as there are multiple managers running different days. Workplace culture depends on how much you invest in it"
