What do you like about working at Timm Medical?

"What I liked was the networking that I could do on a stately basis. In additional the PA conference that was sponsered by our comapany put me in touch with some of the brightest minds in the field of urology and the different disiplines of medicine (i.e. PAs, ARNPs)"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If you are a sales person - you are good - especially and ASR. The pay is crap (for an ASR) but they are doing more to incentivize. As for straight territory reps - good (not great) commish plan will hold your interest for either 2 yrs or until you either make Senior rep or take your contacts and move on. Unfortunately the company is and will always be a launch-pad company - this is a strength as I see it- how many times have you gone on an interview and been asked where did you learn your sales from 9 times out of 10: some b2b business - guess they are launch-pads too. Timm needs to embrace that understand it for what it is and either incentivize more or find new ways to keep folks engaged. Oh and if you are a manger with 15+ yrs of institutional pharma exp you can be a manager here; however if you are young and progressive and want more in life you best move on to the next opportunity."

What don't you like about working at Timm Medical?

"Very lateral company. Choices for advancement were given to the wrong upper management personell. Managers are sincerely treated as 2nd class citizens because: A) upper management has no clue how to manage both personell and the sales model B) a centralized power structure (not the President) makes the process an oligarachy"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"As serious as I can: to get their heads out of their keysters and look around as to the talent they have. A personal message to the president: act more like one instead of a spectator letting your underling rule - it just makes you look bad."
