"TIBCO is a unique company playing in the hot space of data and analytics. It’s bigger and has been around longer than startups, but it’s much smaller than the industry giants like Oracle, SAP, IBM, etc. The company was in a transitional phase in my last few years, focusing it’s target market to the enterprise, and solidifying its position as a serious player in the analytics and data management space. The marketing team there is very competent, open to new ideas, and a genuine pleasure to work with. You don’t have the swiftness of idea to a completed project that is possible at small startups, but from my experience, a voice is given to good ideas regardless of your position in the org. I always felt respected working there and that the opportunity for career growth was available to those who worked hard to achieve it."
