The Solomon Organization Employee

"I’ve worked for The Solomon Organization in Clifton Park for the past 1+ years as a leasing consultant. Starting out you will be forced to learn for yourself. No training whatsoever will be provided. I am a self learning so did learn very quickly but just the fact that you don’t have the resources to learn prove they do not expect you to succeed. Your not supplied working computers nor phones in the office. The managers all gossip and talk about you behind there backs instead of doing job duties. For example if a tenant wants to speak to a manager they are not typically allowed to as they will hide and ignore it until they are not allowed to as they will come into the office. Manager does not stay on top of maintenance and expects leasing team to try and rent apartments that are rehabs or are in need of major repairs. You never have any apartments ready to show and manager does not get on maintenance to take care of problems. It is a free for all with no one being held accountable. Tenants currently move out way more than new people trying to move in so occupancy will allows be low. If you every get offered a job just run! Not worth your time if your looking to succeed and earn most your money off of commissions. Won’t be a leasing agent will be a receptionist in the end and constantly be threatened cause having trouble renting destroyed apartments."

"The benefits are wonderful, and there is a lot of potential for growth within the company. Unfortunately they don’t seem to value their hard workers and do not maintain their properties. The properties are run down and in need of a lot of maintenance, upgrades, and TLC. The company does not value you and will not recognize any of your hard work."
