What don't you like about working at The Rush Fitness Complex?

"There is too much I will state merely a fraction of my thoughts: The Rush Fitness complex is an excellent idea, but the management at the higher level is absolutely crap. They are always talking about the budget this the budget that. IF the budget is soo bad then stop trying to open up more locations and tell the VP and the CEO to cut their own paycheck. Such incompetence it amazing me how people even advance in this job. If your looking to be a Personal Trainer here DON'T. Run in the opposite direction the deception here is unreal. They say you get paid between 12.50-20.00 dollars an hr based on background in degree/certifications like ACE or NASM etc. THAT only applies if you are actually training clients. Since they don't give you clients it's up to you to get your own clients by walking around the gym or calling people. Which they don't tell you until you actually start working you essentially are a salesperson they don't give you clients at all. This place is a total ripoff. During your business hrs which consist of 10hrs or less a week you get paid $7.25 an hr and its up to you with these few hrs to act and convince people they need personal training, of course you could be honest and listen to the clients and if they aren't interested move on.....but that will probably get you fired. Its all about sales here they don't care about you if your not a Fitness salesperson Counselor they are the ones who actually make the money NOT the trainers you bring them to the counselor the convince the person to buy personal training sessions after the Fit Coaches bust their tail to give the client a sample workout and the Counselor gets a bigger cut of the sale package than you do. Expect to make less than $15,000 dollars doing this job. Not to mention you have to pay for your own training since you have to drive to the site there and take there silly tests. You are better of being a private personal trainer and doing this yourself. Simply put they don't invest a dime into their employees and they want you to bring them cash flow from members at the gym, which half of them just want to be left alone and work out. Don't form rapport to milk people of their money, form a genuine rapport and show authentic feelings for their concerns and then MAYBE people would actually want to purchase these expensive session packages and invest in you. Every other day people come in there wanting to cancel their membership......I wonder why. Their contracts are deceptive and they pull money from your bank account without your permission, because they ASSUME that monthly non-consented withdrawls from your bank account is convenient for you smh. Deception of the highest order is here, period."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Haha what management. If your not a VP or CEO you cannot live of the salary you make here comfortably, get serious."
