Texoma Medical Center Employee

"Texoma Medical Center does not treat all of their employee well. I was treated as a lowest form of life. My co-workers excluded me out of everything possible. No effort was made, my manager or anyone else to insure that I was properly trained. The manager only allowed certain employees to learn certain things, for example I wasn't allowed to give prolia shots. These are shots that help prevent or stop osteoporosis. It wasn't that I wasn't qualified, it was the fact that one employee wanted the upper hand over the other employees. So she made it so that she was the only person who gave it. I informed, stating that I needed to be trained on the billing and paperwork that goes along with prolia, but she said that it is ok for only one person in a three provider office to know how to give prolia shots. When I was falling behind due to back to back vaccination and administering EKGs, the other workers just sat there. Because I complained to the manager that the other coworkers were not trying to get along with me, she began to work against me eventually firing me while I was out sick with a doctor's excuse. She wanted me to fries before I could get money to toe me over till I found my new job. Even HR was unprofessional. I told HR I would pick up my last check but they mailed it, and it wasn't to the right address. After numerous calls and giving them my correct address they still delayed me in getting my check. Plus, they denied my insurance. I paid my insurance out of every check and when I was fired over the phone they told me my insurance would end that day as well. Completely uncaring, uncompassionate, and unprofessional."
