What do you like about working at North Fork Bank?
"I liked that it was a good starting point to learn how to interact with people. I am a people person so I really enjoyed working here."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Basically sell yourself as if they need you for the company to be successfull."
What don't you like about working at North Fork Bank?
"I liked mostly everything. At the bank is more of the atitude you come in with and I really do like working amongst people and with people."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"They have to be more on top of the tellers and reps on selling the products they want to be sold to come up as as a team."

"I loved my customers and feeling confident in the work I was doing."

"Talk to other people who have been working for the company first. You have to start as a teller, and it will take at least a year before moving out of that position."
What don't you like about working at Wells Fargo?
"I disliked the lack of room for growth, and not being paid for the work that I was putting in."

"Make more management positions available for the associates who deserve them."

What do you like about working at Tri Counties Bank?
"I had the freedom and the experience to work on projects alone and with others. I was able to become an important piece to the success of the banks relationships with their customers."

"TrI Counties is a good bank with good employees. I still speak with a few on a regular basis, great people and good place to work."
What don't you like about working at Tri Counties Bank?
"No vacation pay, no paid time off, no insurance, small window of opportunities for advancement."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Retail banks in general have become too focused on making a quick sale that it has degraded some of the trust that customers have. I would rather see banks focus on building quality life-long relationships."

"Advancement is slow, management can be terrible and will make moving up difficult."

"No career development, no opportunity for advancement, little recognition or thanks for doing good work."

"Treat everyone fairly, work on employee development, team effort, participate in the running of the business."

"Have confidence. Be clean, professional, and know how to sell yourself to them, because they want to know you can sell Wells Fargo to their customers."

"I dislike the lack of any opportunity to go anywhere but the retail career path (so those of us in school are stuck in that line of work instead of going into a more specialized field once graduated)."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Recognize and appreciate good deeds and attitudes, and don't just point out the negatives. Also, it would be nice if Wells would stop focusing on sales so much and actually commit back to service. If we are truly about customers' financial success, we wouldn't be doing half the things we are."

"Be willing to take care of the customer. You will need to strive to continue to learn if you want to advance."

"I worked there for nine years and trained incoming managers, however was never offered my own office."

"Be willing to look beyond the diploma. Experience should count."

"I dislike when I have to call for help and am not sure. I feel dumb and it makes the customer angry."
