"I was working in an agile-based team as a leader of 3. I was assigned a web-based project and I was given the flexibility to choose between different technologies. Sometimes the database and servers were down so setting things up took some time. Moreover, my team members took leaves and I was often working after hours to meet deadlines. Scrum meetings, feedback, and assistance from seniors helped me learn a lot as everyone was approachable. It was a flexible work environment and I enjoyed working at my own pace and I guided the entire team towards successful completion of the project. "Keep your ears open. It's a nice place to work if you can put up with conditions not like a typical Rails shop. They'll tell you this in the interview, so believe it when they say so!"

What don't you like about working at Teladoc?

"There's a bit of a disconnect between management, who are sometimes a little stuck in the past, and developers, who want to move forward and be more agile."

"Let go a little. The developers can take more control of their work."
