What don't you like about working at TeamHealth?
"Manditory over time every week."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Help pick up the slack when all the coders have to work, they should pitch in and do some coding"
"Really disappointed in the way this company operates. Very little regard for employee satisfaction, and shifts focus from patient care to revenue and productivity very quickly."
"I am currently a Midlevel provider for TeamHealth at an Urgent Care Clinic in Columbia, TN. I enjoy my job very much and it is a great learning environment. There is always one M.D. onsite and two mid-level practitioners."
"Horribly underpaid and brow beaten employees pretty much sums this place up. There are very good benefits and plenty of growth in the company to be sure but we never reap the benefits of our hard work and patience with our management. They expect a lot out of us and we can not even survive on what we are paid. You can be a great employee and if anything goes wrong-even if you have nothing to do with it, you are fighting for your job. GIVE YOUR EMPLOYEES A DECENT RAISE AND TREAT THEM BETTER!!"
"Terrible company. No training. They set you up for failure. Lie. Don't care about paying you well, including bonuses. Micro-manage. Only hire and promote based on gender, race, and/or family ties. NO COMMUNICATION WHATSOEVER. Don't care to make anything better. When I complained about my manager being awful, showing favoritism, no communication, and just lacking overall leadership ability, it was suggested that I transfer to a different department so that I didn't work under her anymore; rather than try to better the situation and the manager. They took people's jobs from them in the Registration department just to turn around a month later and hire temps to do their job-hiring temps because it saves them money. This company could care less about their employees. If you're the type to suck up and brown-nose, then by all means, this is the place for you. But if you have even the slightest bit of personality and morals, I wouldn't advise it at all. For a place with the word "team" in the name, it's ironic that they couldn't be less about a "team" atmosphere. When I put in my 2 weeks, HR pulled me back in 10 minutes later and asked if it'd be okay that today, that Monday, be my last day and that they would still pay me for the full 2 weeks, I could not have said yes fast enough. That free 2 week paid vacation was the best thing they ever did for me!"
"I've worked for TeamHealth for almost 30 years. We have flex time, a dress code that is causal. Management gives you all the tools you need to get our job done. If there is something you think will improve your job we have rounding meeting with management that you can bring up your requests. TeamHealth is always improving on technology to help get our jobs done quickly and correctly."
"I've worked at TeamHealth since the beginning of 2015 and during my time here I have had 3 promotions. The experience that I've gained with this organization has allowed me to continue my growth both personally and professionally. The company provides a number of different resources to help you in all facets of life."
"I have been an employee of TeamHealth for 30 years and have found that as the company grows, our processes and responsibilities grow and change along with the times. This type of learning environment allows employees to grow and succeed."
"I've been with TeamHealth for over 6 months and I love it! It is a great place to work and everyone is very supportive and helpful. Supervisors and managers are always willing to teach new things and there is a ton of opportunities to move up. Great place to work!"
"I have worked for TeamHealth for almost 30 years. I enjoy working here. We have so many benefits to working here. Our company has given us a gym to work out in. We have flex time. I enjoy the casual dress code."
"I have worked for Team Health since 2008. I've found it to be a great company with growth, advancement, flexible scheduling and an emphasis on commitments to quality, efficiency and exceptional patient care. Team Health vision is to develop the best teams of healthcare professionals driven to advance patient care through leadership, innovation and teamwork."
"Good place to work if you are in the industry"
"I worked for SeniorCare of Colorado/ IPC/ TeamHealth for 13 years. I worked with an incredible staff of dedicated professionals that were committed to excellence and compassion in elderly patient care. The original privately owned company was acquisitioned by a large national company that unfortunately only had experience in post acute settings and therefore our clinical base was eliminated."
"Fast paced environment overall good company but no ability to move up in this company"
