"My tenure at T system was, I hope, unusual. My department had some very strange things going on during the year and a half I was there. Within one month of my hiring, our supervisor quit within 2 months, the team lead move to a different department. Within 4 months. The director, the next level up, had quit. For most of the next year, we were supervised by people 3 levels above us. This means we did a lot of work on our own. We managed to get the work done, and keep interpersonal conflicts down"
