What do you like about working at Avectra?

"The people on my team are excellent. There are a few on other teams who understand it doesn't have to be like it is at Avectra. Not many, but a few."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't. Unless this is your to get me a paycheck while I wait for my real job interview."

What don't you like about working at Avectra?

"Managers don't support you. They've never heard the words encouragement, motivation, empowerment, and least of all, respect. Blame is the name of the game at this company. The job is incredibly difficult due to lack of documentation, you don't receive the tools you need to do the job, and you're attacked by the people who are supposed to be supporting you."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"You need to get rid of the nepotism at this company. Despite what you probably think, it is affecting your teams. Find managers that truly understand that teamwork, encouragement, and motivating employees works so much better than punative measures, incessant criticism, and acting as if all your employees are slackers who need to be treated like naughty children and spanked into submission. This company is really middle-ages in how they treat their employees."
