Suffolk University is a private university whose main campus is located in Boston, Massachusetts. The school began operating in 1906 and was created by attorney Gleason Archer, Sr. and was originally a law school called “Archer's Evening Law School”. The university was initially aimed towards working people who wanted to study law. The university underwent an expansion in the 1930s and has become one of the largest law schools in the United States.
