"I would make sure that you really enjoy teaching and have additional experience and background in your subject matter field."

What don't you like about working at Stony Brook University?

"The University was located nearly 1.5 hours from my home and it made commuting once a week very difficult."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"There are many adjunct professors in the university and even within departments and there was no program or intention to have them get together and share experiences to learn from and improve the student experience through dialogue."
