"People are very nice to each other. Workload is reasonable. Salary is very competitive. Working environment is pretty good too. Management is a little messy. Some managers don't speak "same language" with developers. Requirement doc always makes us feel headache."

"HR and Management are idiots"

What do you like about working at StoneRiver?

"Co-workers are great. Good learning opportunities. The products are well designed and offer great value."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Go in with your eyes open. Make sure you get a chance to speak with other employees for their candid opinion about how things work. It's a very negative environment of public ridicule and blame."

What don't you like about working at StoneRiver?

"Way too much bureaucracy. Managers ignore employee estimates and mandate unrealistic timelines. My manager was completely incompetent and HR doesn't care about helping employee resolve issues. Only looks out for the company."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"The answer to missed deadlines is not to add more time-wasting bureaucracy. Listen to your employees when they give estimates and don't mandate they cut their estimates to meet the numbers you've already pre-determined."
