"A great group of people overall. Small 9 person company."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Great group of people, with a family atmosphere. But unfortunately, circumstances due to capital outlay prevented moving forward. Also, ask the President how many sales he has made within the last year. If you are relying on commission from that production, you will definitely want to ask."

What don't you like about working at StoneHill Technical Solutions?

"Unfortunately, the President of the company had purchased a very expensive IT industry sales-based program. Not all aspects of the program were rock solid re: sales technique, approach, etc. Due to the investment in the program, we drank the KoolAid instead of using tried-and-true sales technique. Quite a few opportunities were produced for the President for outside sales calls. He made one sale in 6 months. Not a good fit, unfortunately."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"If you hire someone and state that you want their sales experience advice when you hire them, go ahead and do it. This was a very frustrating experience where we would try what has been proven in the sales world for about 1-2 weeks, then revert back to the program that was bought (specific IT industry sales program)."
