"Ratings sometimes do not go with the questions."

What do you like about working at Stanislaus County?

"I liked the group I went through training with and the customers. I was transferred three different times after graduating out of the training unit. As a result did not receive proper mentoring which ended in being released from employment"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If hired, make sure you go talk to upper management as much as possible. Do the best you can and stay away from the gossip mill!!!!!!"

What don't you like about working at Stanislaus County?

"There was a lot of pressure working there. For someone who had never done case management work, I think I did quite well. Upper management was not available when I needed help. I believe there was a personality conflict between my supervisor and myself. I also didn't like the tattle-tale atmosphere; I mean come on we should all be adults and take responsibility for our own actions. There also was a lot of gossip there where was the professionalism"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Be fair and take everything under consideration. If an employee is struggling and your unable to help them, send them back to the training unit to make sure they understand the areas where they are weak. I mean assigning someone a mentor who does nothing but talk to his/her cubicle buddy and is unable to help you when you have questions does not constitute good training."
