Patient Care Technician

"I have worked for St. David's Medical Center for the past year and it has been amazing. Everybody that I have worked with is always friendly and helpful. The cafeteria has decent food and there is a gift shop with flowers and presents for visitors to purchase. I used to be a volunteer before the pandemic hit and the environment that Jacki Allen, the coordinator, created is inviting and warm."

Regulatory Compliance Manager

"In the short few years that I have been with SDMC so much has changed, for the worse. The constant overview of where to pinch pennies starts to wear on your work ethic. The reduction in force, which is happening more and more causes panic in employees, while assigning them more workloads. To be a manager and then remove and hourly employee and assign that job to the manager should be a wake-up call for anyone that noticed."

St. David's Medical Center Employee

"I have worked at St David's Medical Center for 5 years, it was my first nursing job. I currently work 20 min north of Austin and didn't realize how bad I had it. Don't work here if you want certifications that are open to all nurses or a chance to get your voice heard!"
