"I've worked at SSA for the past two years. For the most part the training was very stressful and difficult to understand. Also the ability to move up into being a full BA was to strict and difficult. But overall I enjoyed the time that I had spent with my co-workers and boss. Overall I wouldn't say that it was a positive experience but it really was an interesting one."
"Great career, for those who are interested in helping fixed-income individuals. Predictability in all aspects, including career path, hours worked vs at home, and work expectations. Time in grade primary determining factor for advancement rather than ingenuity. Terrible technology."
"Pros - Good work like balance - Job stability - Solid government benefits (medical, TSP retirement, PTO etc) Cons - Little to no flexibility when problem-solving - Severely overworked and understaffed - Outdated technology"
"The company management team displayed Bias Practices forcing individuals to either retire, job changes, and moral issues. The environment can be extremely difficult due to management bias practices."
