"Is a good company to work for"

"Working with Spirit Airlines has been fun and frustrating at the same time on the first day I started. The tools and guidance was minimal because they growing and tyring to figure out our identity as IT department. Over the last year it has been rather fun. There are always managers that do too much and make working there a headache. But our IT leadership has been great overall despite this manager. IT leadership has been good overall and lets you know that they want nothing but the best for you and see you grow but also demands the good gets done. I enjoy that because there is no guessing where he is coming from."

"Spirit is a great company that provides less money more go to its passengers and great environment for its employees. Through Spirit I have met amazing people both fellow flight attendants and passengers, and had remarkable experiences. We also have incredible pilots, who I’ve gleaned invaluable pearls of wisdom from."

"Hope you are not over 45 years old they will keep you for a year or two than they lay you off so they can hire 2 employees who are 1/2 your age."

What don't you like about working at Spirit Airlines?

"You are used for what you know and they only value you while you are usefull to them when you know more than the young CEO and company they feel you are too old for their ideas"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Value more your employees and not replace your good employees for a young pretty thing that knows nothing of the job ."

"Member of the strategic team at the airline. Completely rebuilt/replaced all core systems. Built a world-class department that delivered miracles. Survived and grew when other carriers were failing."

"Acquired by a VC which had no industry knowledge or experience but which insisted on trying to make all the key decisions. Management paralysis hurt the profitability of the company badly."

"Trust the people you pay to do the job, who have the experience and track records to prove it."
