"Spectrum was ultimately a wonderful place to work. It gave me an opportunity in the customer support world when I had absolutely no experience in a call center environment, let alone in customer service. While they offered a great benefits package and excellent pay, I feel there were a lot of areas where they lacked competence. For instance: The communication between upper-management, supervisors, and representatives was poor. Policies would constantly change (as to be expected in a growing business), but policies would quickly become convoluted, confusing, or at times, incomplete. I'm also not a huge fan of upper-management who tend hide away in their offices, never interacting with their employees. At times, the software and hardware we were provided would rarely be up-to-par, which would create a rather difficult day on the job, and management wouldn't address it until center-wide metrics would drop. Overall, Spectrum is a great company for those who need to get their foot in the door, but I truly believe fixing these management issues, would also lower their turn-over rate."
