"view the annual reports, ask employees what they like about the company and what are their concerns. Most importantly ask about what is the career ladder. How stable is the company if they get bought out and what will happen to there employment."

"listen to your sales force on what is happening in the territories and what the customers are requesting."

"Pfizer bought Wyeth, where I had worked for 23 years. They severed so many very good people."
