"I have worked as a teacher at Southwest Independent School District for 9 years. It is a very disorganized and chaotic place to work. The administration is very unprofessional, relying on friends, and hearsay to make decisions vice doing the right thing to improve the lives of the students we teach. Teachers are supported based on whether they are liked vice how well they teach their students. Overall, avoid this district if possible."
"Southwest ISD is a great place to teach. You need to have the calling to be a teacher and if you do, SWISD offers very competitive salaries in the San Antonio area."
