"I've worked at SCE for almost 4 years (incl. 10 months as a contractor). Overall it seems to be a well-run company that has recently been more pro-active in managing costs and reducing headcount where appropriate. SCE faces a massive challenge of replacing the electricity supply infrastructure in order to maintain 100% reliability."

"The utility industry will undergo changes; such as, competition. They are current reducing and outsourcing as much work as possible in order to stream line costs. With all these changes your job is always at risk. The stability is no longer there and management red tape is larger."
