What do you like about working at Southcoast Cabinet?

"I enjoy working here because of the employees. I firmly believe that the work atmosphere and people that you work with are of utmost importance. You are there over 8 hours daily, and to get along with your co-workers is everything. I like the fast-paced business-casual atmosphere, professional job presence & attitude. I feel that my department has improved immensely over the last 3 years and has successfully undergone incredible changes, making Southcoast Cabinet thrive & work well with other departments."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Honesty is the best policy. Show your true self & make sure that if your getting into the Accounting aspect of things, that you really have a thorough background of the accounting knowledge because unfortunately, you are on your own; meaning that you don't really get any help from others in the accounting department so please know your position before applying for it!"

What don't you like about working at Southcoast Cabinet?

"I feel I can't progress any further than what I have accomplished at the present time; there is no more room for growth (money & benefits), and we have undergone some tough times November 2008 through current. I am very sad that I have lost benefits & lost compensation due to staying in business & making cuts. I feel that sometimes micro-management has hurt this company by unsuccessfully directing employees with the best interest and not having that impact, instead hurting the company."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I think that management could get themselves out of micro-management by distributing duties & work load by Communicating inter-department and resolving ways to utilize the people in the department for time-management reasons. If we could all be on the same page for the Ultimate Company Goal we would all work better."
