"Be sure to research the current educational model used in the district, and couch your teaching philosophy in it."
What don't you like about working at Antelope Valley Union High SD?
"Nepotism and favoritism is rampant, and the emphasis on a culture of testing is stifling the staff and students. Every few years, there's a new buzzword program that we must all get enthusiastic about, regardless of its demonstrated effectiveness."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would make more of an effort to engage my employees on their level, and create personal relationships that foster open communication and collaboration. I would also not give all my friends and supporters the jobs they want simply because they support me."

"The thing I don't like about working at Cleveland is the support from administrators. They tend to look the other way if there are problems."

"Some suggestions I would have is to have an open door policy. If the people who work for you are having problems with something the management should work with the employee to find a solution."
