Stay out of the politics as people will make it their whole job to spread them. Find a good boss. A good boss changes everything in the department. Also, try to find a position that is union.
3.2I worked for Smith's Food and Drug for almost 4 years in 3 different stores. I felt like it was a good company to work for but I also felt like they were implementing and changing so many programs that I was difficult to get associates to buy in to what they were doing, which created an atmosphere that people felt it was difficult to succeed because their hard work never seemed to be good enough.
