"I have worked with Smartronix for just over one year supporting government IT services at a satellite location. Smartronix has 11 operating offices with more than 550 employees throughout the U.S. and at strategic locations worldwide. The company continues to do very well with highly competitive compensation packages and steady business development and is continuously recognized as an employer-of-choice."

"Supporting the F35 Lab, and high morale location. Able to work outside contract obligations and work on multiple systems."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Avoid office politics and do what your told. Get tasks done."
What don't you like about working at Smartronix?
"Poor Management structure and too many managers for size of shop. For example in a shop of 12 people there is 5 managers."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Too top heavy cut management down. Need to restructure and remove Techs from management role."

"Great work environment. Work amongst Air Force officers that are intelligent and motivated."

"Interview was basic C and C++ technical questions but no definitions. What is polymorphism"
What don't you like about working at Smartronix?
"Work is strictly Microsoft which makes it very frustrating to get technical info."

"We could use a little more direction. There is no formal method for assigning work"

"I would find another company if I were you."
What don't you like about working at Smartronix?
"The Management has not been able to ensure that the customers are happy. Which equals to less work for the employees and loss of contracts. Completely unstable work environment. The pay is not adequate for the work involved (and no I was NOT fired I left)."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Management needs to work on its competency regarding the customers needs. Not allowing valuable members to succeed is not the answer. You do not feel the need to allow your employees to feel that they are supported, then you will hemorrhage people (which is what is and has been happening to you). Of course the good ole boy club doesn't help either. Don't expect a raise until you can get in with the boys"

"They take care of their good employees. I've seen them keep excellent employees on overhead until another contract opens up."

"No real career progression."

What do you like about working at Smartronix?
"Smartronix is a company that take care of thair employees, their manager normally will go the extra mille to keep the good assets on place. Manager are well cualified and educaded and they will normally take decisions base on reason and logic.I was in a contract that was lost to another CO. and 12 jobs were lost , the company dedicated a lot of resoucers to acomodate us in other positions inside Smartronix and if not try to get us interviews with Bussiness partners. No other big DoD contractor will do that, just Smartronix."

"Be honest, be yourself and highlight your achievements and accomplishments as much as your experience."

"To invest as much effort in employee relations as they do in increasing revenue."
