"Began as a Quality Engineer at Sivyer Steel Corporation in 2014 with strong sales to the mining industry and military; however, a dip in sales resulted in a bankruptcy in 2018. We were then purchased and became Sivyer Steel Castings LLC. The COVID19 pandemic resulted in a reduction in both hourly and salary workforce due to a reduction in sales. This is a good company to work for with a good hourly and salaried work force."
"Foundry work is dirty, hot/cold and demanding work, but I do like doing that type of work. Great group of people in the facility who are easy to get along with. Been through a few rough years but we all union and salary both did what we have to to make the company better."
