"They should have taken over the water side because it was filled with nepotism, favoritism and racism. The upper level management had no clue or plans and I received 0 training."

"Get rid of what you have as upper management and base performance off of $ made and not the sabotage practices used to help friends. Also look at work performance and not the worker's color."

"The ex-EDS guys were a bunch of losers. That is why it was bought by UGS. But it funny that this company is now being actually managed by these losers"

What do you like about working at Siemens?
"The company has got a very good Process and Procedures. The work atmosphere is very informal and pleasant. The person is given proper training and a mentor to start with so that he has no problems in settling in his new Job. The work is given according to capacity and is not pushed to overload limits.The work force around are good and helpful."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"1. As Siemens is a German company, it was found that for the same Job in Siemens Bangkok, there was a disparity in salary structure between a German and a non German."
What don't you like about working at Siemens?
"Work at Siemens Bangkok involves the SAP Implementation & Maintenance in the Asia Pacific Region. As the SAP implementation has been completed in most of the Asia Pacific Countries, it is now matter of maintenance. Boredom therefore sets in after some time as Challenge is lacking."

"1. Management is required to come up with ways so that the boredom can be avoided in the case of regular maintenance only.2. Review Salary structure as it is not very good."

"Working for such a large company means that you are but one fish in the big ocean. It's hard to be a standout."

"Typical big company, changes blow with the wind, too many individual agendas with personal goals ahead of the team and company goals."

"Too many management silos. If all of those teams and divisions were ever to pull together it would be very powerful."

"go in detail about the job requirements. Siemens is noted for not allowing OT but you're job description often cannot be completed in 40 hr. weeks and they will then harass you or write you up."

"no support from management at all. I rarely saw my manager except on review time and they were disinterested in supporting employees. When I expressed interest in overseas I was discouraged from applying. low wages and low raises and unable to get necessary training."

"Siemens does a management questionaire for employees, but they do nothing with the feedback."
